Works to speak to AW#18 about his experiences as a founder and working with new technologies. \ \ PicCollage is a mobile photo editing app started in 2011, now with over 200 million downloads and 15 million MAU split across the US, UK, Brazil, Japan, Australia, and many other countries around the globe. In the US alone, PicCollage is used by 50 million people, with 1 in 3 women using the app and 1 in 6 Americans having PicCollage on at least one of their devices. PicCollage is now consistently ranked among the top 10 photo/video apps in both Google Play and the App Store. \ \ John currently splits his time between the company offices in San Francisco and Taipei. He attended Princeton and Stanford (Ph.D. EE), and previously worked at Flarion, a startup which was acquired by Qualcomm.
